We were so honored that FOX 5 San Diego recognized my mom, Mary Joya, as a finalist in their Remarkable Women series for her heart‑centered work serving others. A few years later, we officially launched as Wheels of Joya, but this feature shows that our mission to bring hope, joy, and love has been happening long before we had a formal nonprofit name. Seeing our story shared reminds us how God has used our family’s journey to make a difference in the community.
